The Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments' (ANHE) Student Nurse Committee is now accepting applications.

Student Nurse Committee members explore their passion around environmental health, engage in peer learning and sharing, and collaborate on a project on environmental health. As members of the committee, student nurses will learn valuable leadership skills and connect and collaborate with fellow students and nursing leaders from across the country. This is a great opportunity for students to build leadership skills and learn more about environmental health issues.

GUIDELINES:

The ANHE student committee will adhere to established guidelines. Student committee members will be required to:
- Join an introductory call in August and serve on the committee from August 2023 through July 2024.
- Meet monthly via web conference; must attend meetings with no more than 2 absences unless excused because of clinical or work. Please send prior notification to committee leads.
- If you do miss you will be required to watch recording and provide feedback, then send feedback to committee leads to receive credit of attendance.
- Participate as a student liaison to one ANHE workgroups or committees (Research, Education, Practice, Policy/Advocacy, or Global Nurses Climate Change Committee)
- Determine a shared focus and project to work on as a committee
